Annual Seedling Swap is June 3, 2017

Our annual seedling swap will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 3, 2017, on Main Street near the bus stop in North Adams, Mass. Community members are invited to bring seedlings to swap, or come without seedlings and just choose offerings for their spring gardens. All seedlings are free–you don’t need to bring some to swap to take some home–and donations to Hoosac Harvest are encouraged.

All donations go toward subsidizing CSA shares for people in our community. A farm share is a weekly, reasonable amount of seasonal vegetables, enough for two adults with one to two children, or two veggie lovers. Some subsidized or lower cost CSA shares are still available.

To see if you qualify, contact Hoosac Harvest via kathykeeser@gmail.com or 413-664-4006 after 6 p.m. Subsidized shares are based on income and ranges from $225-325 for the entire 20-week season. Payment plans are available to spread your payments over the season and payment by EBT/SNAP is available.
